September Web Series Feature Partners in North Dakota and Friends in Wisconsin, Hawai’i and Oregon
September 21, 2011
The Power of Partnerships this month features the disaster response work of the Rev. Canon John Floberg and the Episcopal Diocese of North Dakota in Minot, where the Souris River caused severe flooding. There, Episcopal Relief & Development will be supporting the hiring of a construction manager and a volunteer coordinator to assist with long-term recovery work.
September’s Friends of Episcopal Relief & Development celebrates the athletic achievements of the Rev. Gary Manning of Wisconsin, a cyclist; the Rev. Ben Nelson of Hawai’i, a marathoner; and the Rev. Betsy Tesi of Oregon, a triathlete. All three competed in events over the summer and early fall, and raised awareness and support for Episcopal Relief & Development.
The monthly Power of Partnerships and Friends of Episcopal Relief & Development web series feature stories about the agency’s partners in the US and worldwide.
