Episcopal Relief & Development Sunday

A Day to Remember Those in Need

Congregations are invited to observe Episcopal Relief & Development Sunday on the first Sunday in Lent or another convenient Sunday. In 2025, Episcopal Relief & Development Sunday officially falls on March 9.

At the 2009 General Convention, Lent was officially designated as a time to encourage dioceses, congregations and individuals to remember and support the life-saving work of Episcopal Relief & Development. You can view the official designation statement here. We invite all Episcopalians to join together on Episcopal Relief & Development Sunday, and throughout the Lenten season, to pray for those living in need.

Please also consider dedicating the offering to Episcopal Relief & Development and using this link. Make sure to add your church as the “Donor Organization” when making a donation. This helps Episcopal Relief & Development keep track of your church’s fundraising goal.

Thank you for your prayers. They truly make a difference in the work that we do.
