The 81st General Convention of the Episcopal Church

Louisville

Episcopal Relief & Development, along with Episcopal, Anglican and other local partners, supports community-based change that harnesses local expertise, experience and assets. Established in 1940 by The Episcopal Church, our work is only possible because of the contributions of our partners, donors and The Episcopal Church’s leadership.

Episcopal Relief & Development is participating in the 81st General Convention of The Episcopal Church in Louisville to share our gratitude, to provide information about our work, to foster and grow new relationships with emerging church leaders, and to catch up with old friends.

For those attending General Convention, we look forward to visiting with you at our booth (#700). For those following the work of the General Convention from remote locations, we invite you to browse the resources on this page to learn how you can join us in working with communities affected by injustice, poverty, disaster and climate change. The Episcopal Church and Episcopal Relief & Development are truly Working Together for Lasting Change.

From donors and volunteers across the nine provinces of The Episcopal Church to program partners and community leaders in 44 countries around the world, Episcopal Relief & Development touches the lives of over three million people each year. Every person involved is a part of our global community, and we invite all those attending General Convention to meet our community members and to pray for them, wherever they may be.

The Working Together Mosaic

Visitors to Episcopal Relief & Development’s General Convention booth can contribute to a mosaic that shares the joy of our work and celebrates our commitment to Working Together for Lasting Change. When completed, the mosaic will be 14’ 8” wide by 7’ tall. Each visitor to the booth will be invited to paint one 4” x 4” tile. The mosaic consists of 924 total tiles. Check here throughout General Convention to keep up with the process.
