O divine beloved
Loving God,
You have created in me
a unique expression of divine love.
May I know that I am blessed,
loved and cherished, exactly as I am.
May I step into the fullness of my being.
May I learn to trust in you, in the
same way you trust in me.
May I be alert and open-hearted,
so that I may hear your voice,
O divine beloved,
calling me to bring my unique gifts,
to a world in need of care and healing,
help me to know, in closeness to you,
that which is mine to do.

Disturb Us, Lord
Disturb us, Lord, when we are too well pleased with ourselves; when our dreams have come true because we have dreamed too little; when we arrived safely because we sailed too close to the shore. Disturb us, Lord, when with the abundance of the things we possess, we have lost our thirst for the water of life.
Stir us, Lord, to dare more boldly, to venture on wider seas, where storms will show your mastery; where losing sight of land, we shall find the stars. We ask you to push back the horizons of our hopes and to push us into the future in strength, courage, hope and love.

A Prayer for Our Community
Loving God,
You fill all things with a fullness and hope that we can never comprehend. Thank you for leading us into a time where more of reality is being unveiled for us all to see. We pray that you will take away our natural temptation for cynicism, denial, fear and despair. Help us have the courage to awaken to greater truth, greater humility and greater care for one another. May we place our hope in what matters and what lasts, trusting in your eternal presence and love. Listen to our hearts’ longings for the healing of our suffering world. Please add your own intentions . . . Knowing, good God, you are hearing us better than we are speaking, we offer these prayers in all the holy names of God.
