Your congregation’s partnership changes millions of lives each year

Your congregation can join Episcopal Relief & Development in Working Together for Lasting Change in the core areas of Women, Children and Climate. By taking part, be designated as Hope, Impact or Transformation partners.

Episcopal congregations may choose their level of participation through three tiers of engagement–Hope, Impact and Transformation. Each year, Episcopal Relief & Development rewards participating congregations through awards and other distinctions assigned in each tier.

Hope Partners

Hope PartnerWhen you partner in hope with Episcopal Relief & Development, your congregation demonstrates a commitment to seeing the world as God intends—where all God’s children live healthy, fulfilling lives.

To be recognized as a Hope Partner with Episcopal Relief & Development, a congregation has, within the past year, completed the following:
  • Made a gift to Episcopal Relief & Development
  • Designated a Congregational Ministry Partner
  • Updated its information on the Episcopal Asset Map (episcopalassetmap.org)
  • Shared Gifts for Life to raise awareness and funds for Episcopal Relief & Development’s programs
In recognition of its Hope Partner status, Episcopal Relief & Development will provide the congregation with:
  • Hope Partner certificate
  • Hope Partner graphic for congregational website
  • Hope Partner graphic for congregational web and print use
  • A listing on the Episcopal Relief & Development website as a Hope Partner congregation
  • An acknowledgment in the Episcopal Relief & Development report for Diocesan Convention as a Hope Partner
  • Inclusion in a listing of Diocesan Hope, Impact and Transformation Partner congregations in a letter to the bishop

Impact Partners

Impact PartnerWhen you partner in impact with Episcopal Relief & Development, your congregation demonstrates a commitment to making a measurable impact in the lives of those in communities struggling with hunger, poverty, disaster and disease.

To be recognized as an Impact Partner with Episcopal Relief & Development, a congregation has, within the past year, completed the following:

  • Made a gift to Episcopal Relief & Development
  • Designated a Congregational Ministry Partner
  • Updated its information on the Episcopal Asset Map (episcopalassetmap.org)
  • Shared Gifts for Life to raise awareness and funds for Episcopal Relief & Development’s programs
  • Hosted an Episcopal Relief & Development Sunday
  • Utilized Episcopal Relief & Development’s formation materials (Lenten Meditations, Advent Toolkit, Abundant Life Garden Project®, etc.)

In recognition of its Impact Partner status, Episcopal Relief & Development will provide the congregation with:

  • Impact Partner certificate
  • Impact Partner graphic for congregational website
  • Impact Partner graphic for congregational web and print use
  • A listing on the Episcopal Relief & Development website as an Impact Partner congregation
  • An acknowledgment in the Episcopal Relief & Development report for Diocesan Convention as an Impact Partner
  • Inclusion in a listing of Diocesan Hope, Impact and Transformation Partner congregations in a letter to the bishop
  • An Impact Partner “Thank You” video from Episcopal Relief & Development for use on the congregational website, social media, etc.

Transformation Partners

Transformation PartnerWhen you partner in transformation with Episcopal Relief & Development, your congregation demonstrates a commitment to work together for lasting change through seeking and serving Christ in all persons and respecting the dignity of every human being.

To be recognized as a Transformation Partner with Episcopal Relief & Development, a congregation has, within the past year, completed the following:

  • Made a gift to Episcopal Relief & Development
  • Designated a Congregational Ministry Partner
  • Updated its information on the Episcopal Asset Map (episcopalassetmap.org)
  • Shared Gifts for Life to raise awareness and funds for Episcopal Relief & Development’s programs
  • Hosted an Episcopal Relief & Development Sunday
  • Utilized Episcopal Relief & Development’s formation materials (Lenten Meditations, Advent Toolkit, Abundant Life Garden Project®, etc.)
  • Attended an Episcopal Relief & Development workshop or training, such as Called to Transformation, disaster preparedness or an annual Ministry Partner meeting (this can be completed by a group of congregants or by a single clergy/ staff person or Ministry Partner)
  • Hosted someone to speak or preach on behalf of Episcopal Relief & Development

In recognition of its Transformation Partner status, Episcopal Relief & Development will provide the congregation with:

  • Transformation Partner certificate
  • Transformation Partner graphic for congregational website
  • Transformation Partner graphic for congregational web and print use
  • A listing on the Episcopal Relief & Development website as a Transformation Partner congregation
  • An acknowledgment in the Episcopal Relief & Development report for Diocesan Convention as a Transformation Partner
  • Inclusion in a listing of Diocesan Hope, Impact and Transformation Partner congregations in a letter to the bishop
  • A personalized Transformation Partner “Thank You” video from Episcopal Relief & Development for use on the congregational website, social media, etc.
  • A Transformation Partner “Celebration-in-a-Box” to use at coffee hour or another church function
